I’ve been itching to post these photos from Laura & Ilia’s beautiful Parkwood Estate Wedding since their wedding. Everything about this from start to end was just filled with fun, and you can really tell in the photos what everyone’s personality is like.
We shot the ceremony and creatives at Parkwood Estate, which you may know as the Billy Madison Mansion. The ceremony was beautifully lit. The sun was a little harsh, but it was at the right angle to make everyone walking down the aisle glow with that backlit light that you can’t help but love.
And who could forget the best groomsman of all, their French Bulldog, with a little bowtie too. I’ve decided officially that from now on every wedding must have a French Bulldog as a groomsman.
After the ceremony, we checked out the grounds with the wedding party. They were a blast, coming up with ideas for poses and shots just as quickly as I could take them. It felt great to be on the same level as the wedding party. They never complained, despite the heat, and we were able to get a ton of shots all over the venue.
After that, we headed to Harpos. A really classy restaurant, with delicious food that I still think about today. The night went strong, with shouts of VOD-KA VOD-KA, as is Russian tradition I suppose. Can’t put to words how much fun I had, but it was an honour to shoot and I’m so excited to be able to share these photos.
